The Restaurant Swiss-Chalet distinguishes its cuisine from regional Schwyz or Swiss ingredients. We pay particular attention to outstanding quality when it comes to meat. You will experience a show effect when the first bottle is decanted with a saber during the Champagne Cascade.

Children are very welcome here. They can play in the large play corner with lots of toys or draw on the children’s menu with colored pencils at the table with their parents. Children’s chairs are of course also available.
Our brunch was chosen as the most popular brunch in Switzerland by the gourmet magazine Falstaff. After a nomination phase, it was possible to vote for the most popular brunch in Switzerland during more than two weeks. In total, more than 1,800 votes were cast. The “Swiss-Chalet Merlischachen” made it to first place with 589 votes and almost 33 percent.
The Swiss-Chalet restaurant not only relies on regional and Swiss ingredients for its dishes but also on fine Swiss wines on its wine list. For this, the wine list was awarded in the category “Great selection of Swiss wine”.
From “Vinum” the restaurant Swiss-Chalet 2019 was awarded with the “Swiss Wine List Award” and with 4 out of 5 stars in the restaurant category “good home cooking”.
In the Castle-Hotel****, Chalet-Hotel Lodge and in the restaurant “Restaurant Swiss-Chalet”, our banquet locations and in the Chalet-Bar we adhere to the official regulations and pay careful attention to hygiene

Our environment is important to us and we take care with many small measures:
all our taps are equipped with economy nozzles, we heat and cool with lake water in water exchange, LED light bulbs are used wherever possible … and much more.
